Arjun Chatterjee is the Director & Head Talent Acquisition at SunLife
Asia Service Center India (ASCI). In his current role, Arjun is responsible
for driving SunLife ASCI’s overall Talent Acquisition strategy.
As Director & Head, Talent Acquisition, Arjun has played a key role in devising and accelerating SunLife ASCI’s talent acquisition strategy over the years. He is also responsible for building and leading key strategic partnership with business stakeholders, defining and leading Talent Acquisition charters basis on business model from time to time, change Management and Integration, and propelling COE Model through strategic partnerships.
Arjun joined SunLife ASCI in 2021 during the pandemic and has led and managed ASCI’s Talent Acquisition functions during the most difficult phase of acquiring talent. The year was also fuelled with intensified demand expansion across different talent groups and functions. During the pandemic, Arjun put processes in place for organization’s recruitment strategy; most importantly adopting principles from Agile 101 Methodology to drive value to purpose. Arjun also ensured that the Talent Acquisition strategy was supplemented by marketing and branding efforts and instrumental with helping the function win one of the most coveted awards for Digital Talent Acquisition Strategy.
Arjun has also led some of ASCI’s top Talent Acquisition initiatives at SunLife ASCI including - Best in class Diversity Hires; differentiated talent attraction and sourcing strategy for new and emerging roles and to sustain talent supply for existing roles; on-boarded new capabilities and skills to the existing ecosystem; cross linking & platform integration and for navigation and job optimization; provided an opportunity marketplace for internal talent; talent Analytics and reporting that helped with mitigating potential hiring risk and Recruitment budget Optimization.
A people’s leader, with over a decade and half of extensive experience in Human Resources, Acquisition and Talent Management, Arjun has been managing and leading key talent acquisition portfolios across varied skill groups and domains including IT/ITeS/ Consulting/ Embedded/ Hardware/ Telecom/ Manufacturing and Sales etc. Over these years, he worked for various multinational organizations (Silicon Valley Start-ups and Fortune 500 Organizations) enabling them grow with top class & High performing Talent. In his last role, he led Technology Recruitment for American Express India and was also responsible for setting up the COE for Offshore Sourcing anchored out of India Market. Prior to that, he has Senior Talent Acquisition Leader with Convergys. He has also held senior HR leadership positions with GE Capital, AON Hewitt and Audax Lab among others.
