Sujit Karpe is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of iMocha, the
skill intelligence platform that empowers talent teams to make smarter talent
decisions. Sujit is a tech enthusiast who has displayed great acumen for application
of latest technologies to solve business challenges. As a testament to his deep
understanding of tech, he holds couple of patents in the area of skill assessment and
measuring L&D.
At iMocha, he focuses on improving the platform’s capability from candidate
experience, talent analytics and making sure talent teams (Talent Acquisition, Talent
Development, Delivery and Business) have the skill intelligence of their workforce -
from hire to retire. He firmly believes that the future is skills-driven and for
organisations to thrive in the skills economy, talent teams need better tools that
helps them with skills benchmarking, organisational skill meter and talent analytics.
Sujit is a computer science engineering graduate from Pune University and started
his career as a programmer with IBM, then quickly moved to a Team Lead due to his
impressive technical skills and ability to lead people towards successful project
execution aimed at business growth. Soon he decided to leverage his professional
expertise to become an entrepreneur, and founded Radix Business Models as a
company offering strategy, sales, operations and project delivery solutions for
clients. Subsequently, he worked with Pune-based Saviant Consulting as CTO and
later as a technical advisor. Based on the challenges he experienced to hire right
skilled talent throughout his professional career, he had an urge to build a
transformational platform that could change the way organisations acquired,
assessed and managed their talent.
That’s when Sujit joined hands with Amit D Mishra, his senior at IBM as the CTO and
co-founder of iMocha in 2015. Sujit’s customer-first approach to building product,
coupled with his entrepreneurial and product management abilities has been the
bedrock on which iMocha’s skill intelligence SaaS platform is built on.
Sujit envisions making iMocha the most extensive and indispensable skill platform
for talent teams across industries and geos. His aim is to position iMocha as the
leading HR tech SaaS company trusted by HR leaders across the world!
Sujit lives in Pune and in his free time loves to spend time traveling and discovering
new food recipes.
